I am Dr. Swanit Deshpande, a Consultant Urologist and Andrologist from Maharashtra. What started as conversations among a small group of tennis-loving doctors in Mumbai has evolved into a nationwide movement of 500+ medical and dental professionals across 20+ states. In 2022, I had the privilege of becoming the first Indian doctor to compete at a World Medical Tennis Society Championship — an experience that inspired the vision of a structured platform for Indian doctors to enjoy the same opportunities. Today IMTS organizes annual national championships, facilitates WMTS participation worldwide, and runs Sports Medicine academic programmes alongside every tournament.
Open to all MBBS and BDS graduates practising in India. All skill levels welcome — from weekend players to competitive athletes.
